Wish You Were Here
|
What a wonderful surprise to hear.
I can't believe my ears.
I found someone who feels the same.
My sorrow no longer remains.
I have yet to let this love know.
That till the other day our equal feelings didn't show.
I'm the only one who knows that these feelings are reflected.
Now I hope this knowledge to you is directed.
Face to face I'd make it clear.
If only you were here.
Face to face I'd have made you aware.
If only you'd been there.

This Poem's For You
|
I said you'd be made aware.
If only you'd been there.
You'll still know.
Even though you didn't go.
I'll tell you now.
If time will allow.
I hope you realize these words are true.
By the way, this poem's for you.
Read between the lines.
This isn't for the usual readers of mine.

Different Person in Different Places
|
Help me...
Don't you see?!
I can't do it alone.
Hasn't my past shown?
I act so stong.
I've known all along.
That in reality I'm weak.
When with you I'm forced to speak.
In public I act happy and indifferent.
My protective emotional shell doesn't ever get a dent.
Not when others can see...
When I begin wishing you were near me,
My barrier begins to crumble...
And my heart begins to rumble...
